RBL was estbd. in the year 1982 with joint venture of RSMDC(Rajasthan State Mineral Development Corporation) a Govt. of Rajasthan Enterprises and started mining of Barytes. However in 1987 RSMDC withdrew its share holdings and ever since RBL is a public ltd. company and now the company is holding ISO 9001-2000 certification from BVQI.
